Hullabaloo's
music composition is headed up by composers
Glenn
Heaton and Geoff McGarvey.
Music is our passion.
It doesn't really matter what kind of music it is either. Every piece of
music has something.
We have composed for all mediums. Television, commercials,
corporate songs, feature songs for television, stage shows and relaxation music. We also write for ourselves, which is a good way to keep
ideas flowing.
We've written in many styles from classical to grunge to middle eastern, and
its all great fun. We've even won awards, including the APRA (Australasian
Performing Rights Association) Award
for 'Best Music in Children's TV' - for 'Active Kidz'.
During recording, we are privileged to work with some great session
musicians, who not only play well, but always have good jokes.
Most of our work is based
around computer sequencing. This allows us to create a music track using
samples and synthesis. We then play certain live instruments and/or hire
session players to add a reality to the music. We know some great
vocalists who are recorded on site. All our music is mixed in our studio
and sent to mastering when necessary.

The
process:
Getting original music can be a difficult process if
you're not musically trained. But we're here to help. All we need to start is a short meeting to discuss
your needs. From that we use key words and we'll come up with a
musical demo for you at no cost.
From there you decide if we're on the right track,
we make alterations if necessary and then move on to produce the final
music track.
It can be a quick process if you need it to be,
taking only a few days.
